The Annual Back to School Fair for Chelan and Manson students was held on August 9 drive-thru style at Mountain Goat Field. The Back to School Fair committee of Real Life, Lake Chelan Community Hospital, Columbia Valley Community Health, and both Chelan and Manson schools helped students with a backpack filled with school supplies. A total of 264 have been given away so far. People who could not make it and need a bag can call Agustin Benegas LCCH at 509-682-8525 and pickup backpacks up at Lake Chelan Clinic until supplies last. Above Raynor Baker (right) of LCCH EMS hands off a backpack, while Ray Eickmeyer, LCCH EMS looks on. Eickmeyer handed out flyers on Free Car Seat Checks and Masking Up-Next Best Thing to a Vaccine.
