Chelan County property tax bills delayed; expected mid-March

WENATCHEE — Chelan County officials have announced a delay in mailing 2024 property tax statements. According to the Chelan County Treasurer's Office, residents can anticipate receiving their tax bills by mid-March.

The Treasurer's Office assures that the county's parcel search website will be updated with the new 2024 tax amounts as soon as they become payable.

As per state law, specifically RCW 84.56.020, the deadlines for property tax payments remain unchanged. Property owners are required to pay the first half of their taxes by April 30 and the second half by Oct. 31.
