Veterans benefit outreach sessions scheduled in Chelan and Manson

CHELAN -- Veterans and their families are being invited to attend informational sessions on benefits available to them. The Chelan County Veteran Service Officer, John Tamngin, will host two meetings on Friday, August 16, to discuss various veteran benefits.

The first session will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Company Creek Pizza in Chelan. A second meeting will follow from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Manson Parks building, located at 142 Pedoi Street in Manson.

The meetings will cover several important topics, including veteran burial benefits and a comprehensive overview of VA benefits available to veterans and their families. Tamngin will also be on hand to assist attendees with applications for VA medical benefits.

These sessions aim to ensure that local veterans are fully aware of and able to access the benefits they have earned through their service. The Chelan County Veteran Service Office encourages all area veterans and their family members to attend one of these informative meetings.
