Crush Festival: October 12-13

CHELAN/MANSON - “Crush” is an open house at Lake Chelan and Manson wineries, offering the opportunity to really get a taste of what harvest is about.  They invite you to come out and take a tour through their cellars, stomp grapes, listen to music, watch harvest take place, taste juice from the press, and learn what it is really like to make wine.  Contact individual wineries for more information or visit www.lakechelanwinevalley.com

Firelight Gala: October 19

CHELAN - The Chelan District 7 Firefighters Association presents  “Firelight Gala” Dinner and Auction, Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, 6-11 p.m. The Gala will be held at the beautiful Tsillan Cellars & Sorrento’s Ristorante, Hiway 97A, Chelan. This is and live auctions, and dancing with music provided by local Chelan band “Waterdog”. The Chelan 7 Firefighters Association is a 501c3 organization. All proceeds from the Firelight Gala Auctions will be used to benefit and support the surrounding Chelan Valley through the Chelan 7 Firefighters Association emergency relief, projects, regional charities, and acts of kindness.

Chelan Chase: Oct. 19

CHELAN - Registration is open now for the 2019 Chelan Chase on Saturday, October 19. Plan to run or walk in this community service event which benefits Lake Chelan Community Hospital by providing mammogram screening and evaluation for uninsured or under-insured women with demonstrated financial need. A portion of the proceeds also go to Wellness Place, an outreach program of Confluence Health which offers resources for all types of cancer patients and their families in North Central Washington. Pink Ribbon Classic: Oct. 20

CHELAN - The Pink Ribbon Classic Golf Scramble will take place on Sunday, October 20 at the Lake Chelan Golf Course.  The cost to enter the tournament is $30 which includes lunch after play. The entry fee does not include green fees. The two-person team format will offer Scramble Play, Closest to the Pin and Long Drive Awards, Mulligans, and the opportunity to have Mark Lawrence the PGA Assistant Professional hit your team drive on Hole #10.  There will be Raffles and an Auction during lunch.   Golfers of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to play in this fun tournament.  No need to have a handicap because you will be provided with one and if you don’t have a partner one will be provided.   For more information please contact Mark Lawrence at 509-682-8026 or mlawrence@cityof chelan.us.  Entry forms are also available at the Lake Chelan Golf Course Pro Shop.

Trick or Treat, Costume Contest: Oct. 31

CHELAN- Historic Downtown Chelan invites all goblins, ghosts, ghouls, princesses, cowboys and their Mummies and Deadies to join the fun and fill their bags with treats provided by downtown merchants from 5-7 p.m. Costume contests begin at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Emerson and Woodin. www.historicchelan.org
