Swimming for lessons

MANSON - The eight annual Lake Chelan Swim was held this Saturday, September 8. Forty-five swimmers swam from Willow Point Park to Manson Bay Park, 1.5 miles in distance from shore to shore. The swimmers age ranged from 14 to 76 years old and anything in between. Sally Coleman stated that this year the turn out was a lot better from last year, most of the swimmers registered the morning of event. This year’s overall winner was Bo Thrasher from Methow Valley, she completed the swim with a time of 00:37:39.
