Manson volleyball continues victorious

MANSON - The Manson Trojan Volleyball team travelled to Oroville on Thursday for a league match and both JV and Varsity won their matches.

 In Varsity action set scores were 25-15, 25-20 and 25-16.

 The win puts Manson’s league record at 6-0 with two regular season matches left.

 The Trojans were led in kills by Maycee Ward, who had 11, Megan Clausen added 10 more. Kendall Petre and Megan Clausen each had 2 solo blocks.

 Briseida Landa led the team in digs with 14- Megan’s Clausen added 9.
 
Maycee Ward led the team in Serve Receive.

 Behind the service line: Josephine Thompson served  22/24 with 9 aces, Briseida Landa served 14/15 with 1 ace and a string of 10 serves, Brenda Alonso served 4/4 with 1 ace and Kendall Petre served 1/1.

 On the JV side, set scores were 23-25, 25-22, 25-14 and 25-20.
 Maya Hannah led the team in kills with 6.
 Paige Schoenwald led the team in digs with 6, Jenny Cesar-Alonso and Ali Adame added 4.
 Jenny Cesar- Alonso and Lexi Stotko led the team in Serve Receive.

 Behind the service line: Lexi Stotko served 11/12 with 8 aces, Natalie Solorio served  4/4, Melanie Marin served  4/4 with 1 ace, Stefany Luna served 3/3 and Bryanna Harris served 15/16 with 4 aces.

Up next: Thursday, October 18 at home against Brewster, which is Senior Night.
