Heritage Heights to host reception featuring portraits of the residents

CHELAN - Heritage Heights Senior Residence invites you to a reception featuring the artwork that local artists have been creating for the residents.  The Lake Chelan Arts Council has been working with them to create a Gallery of Legacies.  
Join us at Heritage Heights, located at 505 E. Highland Avenue on Thursday, August 8, at 4 p.m. for an ice cream social, music and a preview of the artwork already hung in the first two of four hallways.   Each hallway has about 7 residents and in order to complete the project, we still need to recruit artists.  
We want to thank the artists who contributed, each meeting with their resident to see what they’d like and then creating an artist statement explaining their thought process.  This event is meant to “celebrate all the great work the artists have contributed” in the words of Amanda Ballou, CEO of Heritage Heights, and we thank Cam Elder, Arts Council board member, for her work on this project.
