Lake Chelan Arts Council
CHELAN -The Lake Chelan Arts Council is offering two $1,000.00 Visual Arts Scholarships to graduating seniors in the Lake Chelan Valley, with a minimum 2.5 GPA, who wish to continue their education in the Visual Arts and have applied to an accredited school of higher education.
Visual arts for this scholarship are defined as painting (various media), drawing, sculpture, graphic arts (including digital), mixed media, photography and fiber art.
Establishing an arts scholarship has long been a desire of the Lake Chelan Arts Council. With encouragement from the Board, a Scholarship Committee was formed in September 2018, which met and developed the visual arts scholarship program. Upon presentation to the LCAC Board it was voted on an approved on October 29, 2018.
