Chelan County Public Works to discuss Pedoi Street changes in Manson

MANSON – Chelan County Public Works has scheduled a community meeting for Thursday, Feb. 29, to present and discuss proposed changes to Pedoi Street and South Harris Avenue. The meeting aims to address the community's request for additional parking options in the tourism-centric town of Manson.

The public gathering will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Manson Grange Hall, located at 157 E. Wapato Way. Residents and interested parties are encouraged to attend to learn about potential street modifications designed to increase parking availability. Among the considerations are turning Pedoi Street and South Harris Avenue into one-way streets to accommodate more angled parking spaces.

The initiative comes as a response to Manson community's concerns over parking scarcity during peak tourist seasons. Chelan County Public Works will present parking and street configuration options at the meeting, seeking feedback from the community on the proposed changes.
