CVCH and Chelan-Douglas Land Trust to host educational 'Hike for Health' series across valley

WENATCHEE - In partnership with the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCB) is hosting a series of free educational hikes titled "Hike for Health." The hikes are scheduled monthly from March through October. Participants will explore various locations in the valley and have the option to hike independently if preferred.

The series aims to promote health benefits through hiking and includes raffle drawings. Participants unable to attend can still enter by submitting a photo of their hike on the trail. Pets are not permitted during the guided events.

The scheduled hikes are as follows:

  • March 16, 9 a.m. at Castle Rock, Wenatchee
  • April 13, 9 a.m. on Loop Trail to Coyote Dunes, E. Wenatchee
  • May 18, 9 a.m. at Mountain Home Preserve, Leavenworth
  • June 15, 7 a.m. at Sage Hills, Wenatchee
  • July 20, 7 a.m. on Chelan River Trail, Chelan
  • August 3, 7 a.m. at Stormy Creek Preserve, Entiat
  • September 14, 9 a.m. at Cashmere Canyons Preserve, Cashmere
  • October 12, 9 a.m. at Saddle Rock and Raffle Event, Wenatchee
