Entiat Public Works announces Saskia Hills water outage for upgrades

ENTIAT - The Entiat Public Works Department, in coordination with Cimco-GC Systems, has announced the scheduled maintenance of two major Automatic Control Valves in the Saskia Hills area. Residents are advised of a planned water shut-off on Wednesday, March 6, during intermittent periods between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to facilitate the necessary work.

According to the department, the Control Valve manufacturers recommend a replacement of internal rubber components every five years to ensure optimal functioning. During this maintenance window, the valves will undergo a thorough inspection and cleaning. Any worn parts identified will be replaced to maintain the system’s integrity.

Residents in the affected Saskia Hills area should prepare for the temporary disruption in water service and adjust their usage accordingly.
