LAKE CHELAN LADIES GOLF TEE TIME – JUNE 2

There’s a lot going on at the golf course. A major remodel inside will be open soon. Thirty-three players came to compete last Thursday. The Competition was Monthly Medal (low gross and net by division and fewest putts).  

Division 1: Low Gross: First Place: Jan Artim, 86. Second Place: Linda Reister, 92. Third Place was a tie between Ann Minden and Nancy Storaasli, 97.

Low  Net: First Place:  April Talley, 73. Second Place was a tie between Jaclyn Starr-Evans and Candace Farnsworth, 75.

Fewest Putts: Jan Artim, 30.

  Division 2: Low Gross: First Place: Nancy Judson, 99. Second Place: Linda Hahn, 100. Third Place: Susie Clausen, 101.

Low Net: First Place: Sherry Ochsner, 74. Second Place: Julie Allison, 75. Third Place: Roxanne Emerson, 79.

Fewest Putts: Lou Rolfe, 32.

  Division 3: Low Gross: First Place: Nancy Parker, 104. Second Place: Judy Johanson, 108. Third Place: Loa Servis, 112.

Low Net: First Place was a three-way tie between Joni Dedo, Karen Erickson and Barb D’Ettorre, 75.

Fewest Putts: Judy Johanson, 34.

No birdies were made but there were three players with chip-Ins: Bernie Rayner on hole 13, Karen Holst on hole 13, Susie Clausen on hole 16.

Thursday, June 2 was also the final round of our Apple Blossom match play tournament. Jan Artim and Linda Hahn made it to the final and battled it out in a very competitive round. Jan Artim was one up going into hole 18 and then won the 18th hole, so she won 2up on 18. Kudos to Jan for winning the Apple Blossom Club title for 2022.     

This week’s competition will be Ecci 9: pick your best 9 holes out of 18 less ½ your handicap.
