North Cascades Bank hosts grand opening celebration

Posted

CHELAN – Around 450 community members recently attended the grand opening and celebration of the North Cascades Bank in Chelan.

The Chelan branch was under construction for about 15 months before it officially opened in mid August.

The celebration was an opportunity to tour the completed building and  thank the community and NCB customers for their continued patience through the construction process.

The new building marks a significant milestone in the bank’s vision to best serve the community. Dedicated staff, advanced technology, and modern facilities are all present to provide an optimal banking experience. This new building incorporates not only the branch to serve community members, but also includes back-office functions in support of the bank’s entire operations such as their call center, accounting, loan servicing, marketing, human resources, deposit operations, and training.

Among event attendees were President and CEO of Wheatland Bank Susan Horton, Mayor of Chelan Bob Goedde, State Representative Mike Steele, City Council member Erin McCardle, and North Cascades Bank Board members Beth Stipe, Dale Erickson, and Danica Ready. NC Bank Board members assisted in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony held at 5:30pm.

President and CEO of North Cascades Bank Charlie Guildner then gave a short speech, followed by a cutting of the cake. Outside on the third-floor patio, the Kevin Jones Band played while attendees enjoyed hard cider by Steelhead Cider and local wine provided by Nefarious Cellars.

“We wanted to express our gratitude for the community’s support and trust in North Cascades Bank,”Guildner said “We look forward to embarking on a new chapter of growth, innovation, and community collaboration.”
