Road construction, maintenance week of April 10

NCW - 2023 Chip Seal Season: We have posted the list of roads that will be chip sealed this year as part of our road preservation program. To determine if a county road crew will be chip sealing on your road this summer, visit our  Pavement Preservation Program webpage. The page includes a list of the roads as well as tips on what to expect if the crew is in your neighborhood.

Temporary Weight Restrictions: While temporary weight restrictions continue to come off in some portions of the county, freight haulers are reminded to check the Traffic Alerts and Restrictions webpage for frequent updates.
Maintenance plans may change with weather conditions or equipment difficulties. Visit the Public Works website, where the weekly road maintenance information is regularly updated.

District 4 (Entiat)
The county crew will be repairing potholes and grading dirt roads in the district. Motorists also should watch for a Chelan PUD crew working on electrical upgrades in Crumb Canyon and for a Chelan PUD contractor clearing brush in the Entiat Valley. The work zones are one lane with flaggers directing traffic. Plan for minor traffic delays if you come upon a PUD crew. Weight restrictions are on county roads in the district.

District 5 (Chelan)
The crew will be ditching on Boyd Road. Ditching requires one-lane, flagger-controlled traffic. Lower your speeds when you come upon a road crew at work. The crew also will be grading dirt roads, cleaning culverts across the district and brooming in downtown Manson. Weight restrictions are on county roads in the district.
