Sundance Slope annexed into city; update given on TIF

CHELAN - Chelan City Council met on Tuesday, August 8, at 6 p.m. at Chelan City Hall Council Chambers. Of priority were agenda items:  Sundance Slope Annexation Public Hearing and Resolution No. 2023-1429; Chelan Valley Housing Trust CHIP Grant Application and Task Authorization No. 9; Our Valley Our Future Professional Services Agreement; HR Answers, Inc. Consulting Services Agreement; and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Update.
Regarding the following:
• Sundance Slope Annexation Public Hearing and Resolution No. 2023-1429: A move to adopt Resolution No. 2023-1429 was set forth and passed.
• Chelan Valley Housing Trust CHIP Grant Application and Task Authorization No. 9: A move to authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the Ardurra Task Order Authorization No. 9 for the Chelan Valley Housing Trust Chip Grant Application was set forth and accepted.
• Our Valley Our Future Professional Services Agreement: A move to authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the Professional Services Agreement with Our Valley Our Future was set forth and accepted.
• HR Answers, Inc. Consulting Services Agreement: A move to authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the Consulting Services Agreement with HR Answers, Inc. was set forth and passed.
• Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Update: December 1, deadline to have mitigation measures in place; a tentatively scheduled workshop on September 5, necessitates an established timeline for developing mitigation measures.  
The next Chelan City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 6 p.m. at Chelan City Hall Council Chambers, located at 135 E. Johnson Avenue, Chelan.
