Casa Vaquera Western Wear opens in Manson

Posted

MANSON — Casa Vaquera Western Wear officially opened its doors in Manson on Nov. 28, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Manson Chamber of Commerce and the Historic Manson Main Street Association. Owner Greyci Chavez was joined by her husband, Antonio Nunez, family, friends, and community members for the event, which featured homemade tamales and a first look at the store’s western wear collection.

Chavez said Casa Vaquera has been a long-time dream. About a year ago, she began searching for the right location, eventually securing a space at 300 S. Quetilquasson Road in late September. The space was transformed into a welcoming shop, marking the official launch of the business.

Casa Vaquera reflects the family’s roots on a ranch in Manson, where Chavez and Nunez raised their daughters surrounded by horses, goats, sheep, and cows. That connection to ranch life inspired the creation of a store offering western wear for rodeos, jaripeos, and everyday life.

For Chavez western wear isn’t just clothing, it’s a lifestyle. She hopes the store provides more diversity and opportunity for the community while supporting local traditions.

The shop features hats, boots, and clothing from premium brands including Platini, White Diamond, and Los Altos. Platini is known for attention to detail and high-quality apparel, White Diamond brings Mexican-inspired cowboy designs, and Los Altos offers exotic leather boots.

Casa Vaquera is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a lunch break from noon to 1 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The store is located at 300 S. Quetilquasson Road, Suite 1, Manson, WA 98831. Contact info is info@casavaquera.com or 509-380-9088.
