Posted

CHELAN — Students in the Chelan High School building class recently built and installed a custom cabinet for Vita Monteleone, director of community relations at the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation.

“These young men put in the hard work of 851 screws, nuts and bolts and then delivered and installed my new cabinet at the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation office, in the lower level of the chamber building,” Monteleone said.

She also recognized the students’ instructor for his guidance.

“Good work and thank you to their teacher, Jason Sanderson,” Monteleone said.

Students who participated in the project include Emiliano Major, Christian Ramirez, Manny Vargas, Jonah Simmons, Caleb Wood and Skylar Kenoyer, who was not pictured, along with teacher Jason Sanderson.

The Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation works to enhance health care in the Lake Chelan Valley by funding medical equipment, supporting health care education and advancing wellness programs that improve community well-being.
