Chelan, Manson seniors receive Lake Chelan Golf Club scholarships

CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Golf Club Ladies Division has awarded its 2026 golf scholarships to Chelan-area graduating seniors Abby Ludwig and Elly Dromeshauser.

The scholarships are awarded annually to senior girls on the Chelan or Manson golf teams who plan to continue their education after high school. In years when no eligible golf team members are available, the organization may award scholarships to student-athletes. According to the Ladies Division, that was the case this year for Chelan High School.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement and community service.

Ludwig, daughter of Chad and Caryn Ludwig, received a $1,700 scholarship. She maintained a 3.9 grade-point average while participating in school activities, athletics and community projects. She plans to attend Washington State University to study animal sciences and pursue a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Dromeshauser, daughter of Erik and Tina Dromeshauser, also received a $1,700 scholarship. She maintained a 3.6 grade-point average while participating in school activities, athletics and community projects. She plans to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa to study tourism and international business.

The Lake Chelan Golf Club Ladies Division congratulated both students and thanked them for their efforts as student-athletes and representatives of women’s athletics.
