Chelan Memorial Day Parade to honor fallen service members

CHELAN — The annual Chelan Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 26, at 7 p.m. in historic downtown Chelan.

“Join the VFW Post 6853 in honoring the brave combat veterans who gave their lives for our freedoms at the Chelan Memorial Day Parade,” the event page states.

Hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6853 and Boy Scouts Troop 34, the parade honors U.S. military personnel who lost their lives in service to the country. Community members are invited to gather along East Woodin Avenue to pay tribute and reflect on the sacrifices made by fallen heroes.
