CHELAN MOUNTAIN GOATS LOSE TO BREWSTER BEARS IN 1ST ANNUAL CHERRY CUP

BREWSTER - The Chelan High School Football team traveled to Brewster on Friday evening, Sept. 2, for the first annual Cherry Bowl. The Brewster Bears came out on top 36-34.
‘‘Lost 36-34 in a great back and forth game. We had about a nine minute let down that really hurt us. Brewster did a great job climbing back after being down. They made one more big play then us, and one less mistake. I like the way we battled in the second half. Ryan Allen and Lance Gogal ran the ball very well tonight. Isaac Wilson threw multiple TD passes to Austin McCardle, Lance Gogal, and Grant Gogal. Our defense created 3 turnovers. 2 from Ryan Allen, one from his sophomore brother Jacob Allen.  We all had our heads up leaving the locker room,’’ said Coach Domser
