ENTIAT — Families who use Entiat City Park are being invited to help shape the future of one of the community’s most popular gathering places.
Chelan County PUD and the City of Entiat have launched a public survey seeking feedback on a planned playground replacement at Entiat City Park. The survey, located at https://form.chelanpud.org/261475505647059, will remain open through June 30 and is available in both English and Spanish.
According to Chelan PUD Parks Manager Ryan Baker, the current playground equipment is showing its age, prompting plans for a modern replacement designed to serve local families for years to come.
Residents are being asked to weigh in on several potential playground designs and features, including climbing structures, slides, swings and other play elements, examples of which can be seen at the website. The goal is to create a playground that reflects the needs and priorities of the Entiat community.
Project planners say the new playground will emphasize safety, accessibility, durability and opportunities for children of different ages and abilities to play together.
Following the survey period, final design work is expected to take place this summer, with construction scheduled for September 2026.
