Fire and Cop on Top Event to raise money for local Special Olympics

CHELAN – A local Fire & Cop on Top Event will be held on August 4. Community members are invited to visit the Safeway parking lot located at 106 W. Manson Road in Chelan to obtain information and sign-up to participate in Special Olympics Washington. Donations will be accepted for the Lake Chelan Valley Program.
Additional events toward this fundraising effort include 'Get Them Back on the Ground' efforts. Chelan Fire & Resue and Chelan County Sheriff deputies will be on a scissor lift 10’ off the ground. There wil also be water fights with Fire and Law Enforcement. Chelan Fire & Rescue will host their portion of this event from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., with Chelan County Sheriff Office participation from 12-2 p.m. In lieu of attendance, consider a donation to Special Olympics Washington by scanning the  QR code and selecting General – North Central in the Drop Down Menu.
