Guild Y fundraiser another win win

CHELAN - The staff and volunteers at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce helped Guild Y stage another successful fundraiser in April and May. Residents and visitors wanting to show support for the new hospital went to the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce to purchase a patio brick to be laser-etched by Bricks R Us of Miami, Florida.
During the early summer fundraiser in 2022, 253 etched bricks were sold. The second sale was prompted by many requests from those who missed it. During this sale an additional 69 etched bricks were purchased, which will be shipped out of Miami on July 27.
Those buying memorial patio bricks made a $100 donation to Guild Y which also helped purchase outdoor picnic tables with large colorful umbrellas for shade. Lake Chelan Health hospital staff, professional employees and visitors alike are making good use of the outdoor dining patio adjacent to where the bricks will be permanently installed later this year.
Lake Chelan Valley residents and visitors have once again demonstrated their support for the community hospital. Guild Y members are grateful for another successful fundraiser. All money raised will be used to support the hospital.
