Heritage Heights in Chelan unveils renovated facility with memory care and end-of-life services

CHELAN — Heritage Heights Senior Living will celebrate the grand reopening of its facility on Tuesday, July 22, following a multi-million-dollar renovation that expands services to include memory care and end-of-life support.

The project, which took several months to complete, adds vital services that allow local families to keep their loved ones close to home, eliminating the need for travel to access specialized care.

"We’re truly grateful to announce that our memory care services have begun, and we’re honored to provide this much-needed care for families right here in our community," said Melissa Robins, Heritage Heights Board Chair. "One of our greatest priorities is helping long-time residents stay close to home, near the people and places they love."

In addition to launching the new care services, the facility underwent upgrades to resident rooms, common areas, and the kitchen and dining space. The renovations also included system updates and infrastructure improvements to bring the building up to current safety codes.

Robins credited a wide coalition of supporters for making the project possible.

"We are so thankful to our local community, the City of Chelan, Chelan County, and both Washington State and Federal partners for their incredible generosity," she said. "Thanks to that support, we’ve been able to update aging systems and bring our building up to code, which creates a safer and more comfortable home for the seniors we care for."

The public is invited to the grand reopening event, which will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at 505 East Highland Ave. in Chelan. The event will include remarks from local and state officials, guided tours of the updated facility, and refreshments.
