James M. Perry

James M. Perry (88) of Chelan passed away on January 24, 2018 at home. Born in Alliance, Nebraska he graduated from Turlock (California) High School.

After a serving in the Army as an MP in Korea, James married Elizabeth Watson in Seattle on February 26, 1955.   They made their home in San Jose, California while he attended San Jose City College.  James served as a Police Officer in Santa Clara from December 1959 to 1966 when he began working for a Stained Glass Studio.  

In 1971, they moved their family to Issaquah Washington to start their own business.  Jim and Liz operated Perry Stained Glass Studio for 44 years before retiring full time to their home in Chelan.   

James is survived by his wife Elizabeth of 63 years, their son James (Roxanne) Perry of Issaquah, Susan (Kerry) Schutz of Mossyrock, and Diane (David) Anderson of Keaau, Hawaii, granddaughter Sara (Cyrus) Bowthorpe and great-grandchildren Colton and Cheyenne Bowthorpe.  

Services to be held on February 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Chelan.
