MANSON - The 105th Manson Apple Blossom Festival ‘Legends of the Lake’ kicked off the two-day festival on Friday evening, May 9, with the Coronation Pageant held at the Manson High School Gym. Grand Marshal for the 2025 festival Viki Downey, officially crowned the royalty, Queen Queen Genesis Torres, Princess Isabella Alexander and Princess Brynn Williams, who were selected in February to reign over the festival.
On Saturday, May 10, a day full of activities and events started with the Manson Apple Blossom Pancake Breakfast held at the Manson Grange. Breakfast included eggs, ham, juice, coffee, and of course, pancakes, with your choice of sourdough, blueberry, or buttermilk. The breakfast was followed by a 2k and 5k race around Manson with over 220 walkers and runners participating. The event was organized by Manson Growers.
The Manson Student Art Show was hosted by Radiance Winery on Friday and Saturday, May 9 and 10, and displayed many forms of art by Manson High School students.
Andrea Jeffries of Manson was the featured quilter at the Undercover Quilt Show at the Manson Grange. Jeffries learned to sew in high and has been quilting since 2000. Over a dozen of her quilted pieces were on display.
Mid-morning found the Manson Apple Blossom Grand Parade traveling through downtown Manson, with bands, floats, children, community organizations and many others traveling down Wapato Way.
Festival attendees enjoyed browsing through the many vendors who displayed items, from handcrafted items to jewelry, and much more. They also had a variety of food to choose from.
After the parade, activities included a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament on Wapato Way and rounding out the day with a Community Coed Soccer and Softball Game held at Singleton Park.
A new event for the 2025 Manson Apple Blossom Festival was the - Petal Plunge Splash - honoring Grand Marshal Viki Downey and raising funds for the free swim lesson program at Manson Bay Park, through Manson Parks & Recreation.
