Manson Chamber of Commerce receives LTAC Grant for 2018

Manson – The Manson Chamber of Commerce has been awarded a grant  from the Chelan County Lodging Tax Fund or LTAC in the amount of $27,000 for the year 2018. The  funds are used to create and support events in Manson that bring people to the valley and create  overnight stays which in turn generates more tax revenue for the program, and stimulates business activity.
This is the fourth grant award to the Manson Chamber of Commerce who use the funds to support  programs like the Manson Rat Rod Show, Apple Blossom, 4th of July, Fishing Derby, Hydro Fest,  Village of Lights and cross chamber support with the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce for Winter Fest.
For the coming year, the Manson Chamber is looking to add one, possibly two wine walks to promote our wineries and how easy it is to simply stroll downtown Manson and enjoy the splendid work of  our winemakers. The Manson Chamber will work side by side with the Lake Chelan Wine Alliance to  drive the event and create greater awareness of our wines.
