Manson Chamber of Commerce seeks volunteers

Posted

MANSON – The Manson Chamber of Commerce (MCC) is seeking volunteers to staff their Manson office and participate in local seasonal events throughout the year. The Chamber has operated successfully with ten volunteers actively serving in 2023; however, an increase in area events requires a need for additional support.

The MCC recently relocated to 17 Hale Street in Manson. The new location offers a more prominent presence in the community, garnering a need for more active volunteers. New Executive Director Tom Tochterman is the only paid employee at the Chamber. With a background in non-governmental development and business management, Tochterman has a strong vision for the community of Manson, which aligns with the 2023 Manson Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

What was formerly the Manson Business Association, the MCC excitedly looks toward the valley's future. Their 2023 Membership Application states their purpose, “To support and assist our community members to successfully grow both now and in the future. The Manson Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization organized to bring greater awareness and focus to Manson and the features and amenities we offer. From our beautiful wineries and agriculture to our breathtaking landscape and our growing recognition as a destination for dining, entertainment, and accommodations, we strive to bring attention to all of our assets. We believe that ALL businesses benefit by working together for mutual success.”
