Manson, Chelan students earn places on Spokane Colleges honor rolls

SPOKANE — Students from Manson and Chelan earned academic honors during the fall quarter 2025 at Spokane Colleges, with local students recognized on the honor rolls at both Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College.

At Spokane Community College, approximately 2,600 students were named to the fall quarter honor roll, which recognizes those who earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Local honorees included Diana Lopez Jimenez of Manson and Carolyn Martin of Chelan.

At Spokane Falls Community College, Braiden Boyd of Chelan was named to the honor roll for the same quarter, also requiring a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Both colleges are part of the Spokane Colleges district, a 12,300-square-mile system that includes two community colleges and six rural education sites serving northeastern Washington. Spokane Colleges offers academic transfer programs, career and technical education, apprenticeship training, eLearning options, business and community education, and adult literacy programs, enrolling approximately 20,000 students annually.
