MANSON — The Manson School Board has selected Ian Crossland as the next superintendent of the Manson School District, with his appointment scheduled to take effect July 1.
The board took formal action June 5 to enter into negotiations with Crossland for the position and announced his selection following the successful completion of those negotiations.
According to the district, Crossland was chosen from a competitive field of candidates. In a statement, Board Chair Greg Neff, speaking on behalf of the Manson School District Board of Directors, thanked staff, students, families and community members who participated in the superintendent search process.
“The Board would like to express its sincere appreciation to the staff, students, families, and community members who participated throughout the search process,” Neff said. “Your thoughtful feedback, engagement, and commitment to Manson Schools played an important role in helping inform this important decision.”
The board said it looks forward to Crossland’s leadership as the district continues its work on behalf of students and families. District officials also welcomed Crossland and his family to the Manson community.
