MANSON — Manson School District has been awarded more than $275,000 in federal funding through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program, in partnership with Communities in Schools of North Central Washington. The grant, renewable for three years, will support expanded after-school and non-school-day programming for students.

Superintendent Tabatha Mires said the funding will help strengthen academic support, enrichment activities and family engagement.

“We are incredibly grateful to receive this funding through the 21st Century program, in partnership with Communities in Schools of North Central Washington,” Mires said.

“This grant allows us to continue building innovative and academically enriching after-school, summer and Friday programs that meet the needs of our students and families,” she said. “It reflects our community’s shared commitment to student academic success and well-being and aligns with our strategic plan.”

New programs are set to launch this fall and will include tutoring, STEAM activities, career exploration, recreation, wellness, and family events.
