MANSON — The Manson School District will host a public forum Wednesday, June 3 for community members to meet the three finalists seeking the district’s superintendent position.

The Superintendent Candidate Forum is scheduled from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. June 3 in the Manson High School Commons. District staff, families and community members are invited to hear from the candidates as they discuss their backgrounds, qualifications and perspectives on the future of the district.

The finalists are Ian Crossland, Eric J. Pingrey and Dr. Kevin Rupprecht.

Crossland, a Cashmere native, has worked as a teacher, administrator and school leader in Washington and internationally. He previously served in the Manson, Entiat and Cashmere school districts and later held leadership positions in Colombia and Utah. He currently serves as schools support director for Round Square, an international educational network serving more than 75 schools across North and South America.

Pingrey is a veteran superintendent whose career has included district leadership positions in Idaho and Minnesota, as well as earlier administrative roles in Wyoming and South Dakota. According to information released by the district, he helped oversee academic initiatives, facility improvements and early learning expansion in McCall-Donnelly, Idaho, and later worked with the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley School District in Minnesota on governance, referendum and facilities projects.

Rupprecht has spent 24 years in education, beginning as an English and history teacher before becoming a school principal. He previously served as a principal in the Quillayute Valley and Clover Park school districts and currently serves as assistant superintendent in the Clover Park School District. He earned a doctoral degree from Seattle Pacific University in 2024.

The district said the forum is intended to give residents an opportunity to hear directly from the finalists and learn more about their experience and qualifications before the superintendent selection process moves forward.
