Manson XC wins Okanogan Invite

OKANOGAN - Both the girls and boys cross country teams won the Okanogan Invite this weekend (March 6).  The girls race was first and the team got strong performances from Ava Westphal (3rd), Valerie Hunt (5th), Ella England (7th), Cara Hutton (8th) and Leea Westphal (10th).  This group worked hard during the Covid delay to stay in shape and their hard work is paying off.

The second race feature the Manson boys team and they picked up where the girls left off cruising to a team championship as well.  Grant Torgesen led the charge winning the individual title and was followed by Jon Sarmiento (4th), Conner Clausen (7th), and Johan Cruz finished 10th.

Both teams competed Saturday, March 13 in Wenatchee.
