Rollover accident on Highway 97

CHELAN - Chelan Fire and Rescue 7, Chelan Emergency Medical Servcies, Chelan County Sheriff’s deputies and Washington State Patrol responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 97 just after 9 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 24. According to a Chelan County Sheriff’s officer on scene, the Dodge pickup was heading northbound on Highway 97A, Milepost 228, and lost control of the vehicle a half mile or so from the Bear Mountain area. The pickup crossed both lanes and rolled before coming to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Of the three individuals inside the vehicle, only one required transport to Lake Chelan Community Hospital.
