Search underway for hiker last seen at Ingalls Creek Trailhead

Chad T. Pietrok, 27, was last seen Aug. 11 at the Ingalls Creek Trailhead. The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from anyone who may have seen Pietrok along his planned hiking route.

LEAVENWORTH — The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a 27-year-old overdue hiker who was last seen at the Ingalls Creek Trailhead on Aug. 11.

Chad T. Pietrok planned to travel along the Ingalls Creek, Esmeralda Basin, Vann Epps, Jack Creek and Eightmile trails, according to the sheriff’s office.

Pietrok was wearing either a yellow or orange outer layer and may have been carrying a blue backpack. He also had a yellow or gray tent.

Anyone who was in the area and may have seen Pietrok is asked to email the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office at sheriff.em@co.chelan.wa.us.
