Senior Fall Coalition Event, Health Fair a success

CHELAN - The Senior Fall Coalition Event and Health Fair was held September 20. Over 60 seniors braved a rainy day to attend the event held at the Chelan Senior Center, hosted by Tender Loving Care for Seniors and sponsored by Health Care Alliance. Twenty seven vendors shared information helpful to all seniors such as vision/hearing services (Lion’s Club, Walmart), local health care providers: EMS, Occupational and Physical Therapy. Exercise class opportunities abound: chair volleyball and SAIL classes at Senior Center, Matter of Balance Class at NorthShore Bible Church.

Our local “voice” of Chelan, Jerry Isenhart, wrote a great, humorous history of EMS services in Chelan which was shared by his good friend, Don Webb. Chelan and Manson celebrate our seniors and provide great opportunities to be healthy and active.
