Steele to speak at Chelan Valley Republican Women meeting in Manson

MANSON — Chelan Valley Republican Women will hold their April meeting on Thursday, April 9, at Radiance Winery in downtown Manson.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature guest speakers including Mike Steele, a candidate for re-election to the 12th Legislative District, Position 2. Steele is also the executive director of the Chelan Chamber of Commerce.

Positions 1 and 2 are both up for grabs in the election, as are all State Representative positions every two years. Steele is the only candidate appearing at this event.

Also scheduled to speak are Kaitlin Vintertun and Amanda St. George, two representatives from League of Our Own Washington, an organization focused on recruiting and supporting conservative-minded women running for public office through training, mentorship, and campaign resources.

The event is open to guests and non-members, and organizers note that men are welcome to attend. Food and beverages will be available for purchase through the venue.

Chelan Valley Republican Women is a local organization that hosts regular meetings and events focused on civic engagement and political participation.
