Summer of Love' fundraiser for Chelan Community Nurse program August 19

CHELAN – A 'Summer of Love' fundraiser for the Chelan Community Nurse program will be held on Saturday, August 19, 4-9 p.m., at The Entertainment Center at Watson’s Alpenhorn Café. Tickets are $20 per person.There will be festival seating, music, dancing, food and beer/wine garden. Music will be by local musicians.  This is a celebration of the music of Woodstock and more and this fundraiser is held to provide operating funds for the program. Music by local musicians Waterdog, The B Side, Space for Rent and singer/songwriter Brittany Jean.  On-site food and beverage purchases only, Hippie Costume Contest.  Dogs welcome with leashed owners.
The Chelan Valley Nurse (CVCN) is a FREE grass roots program dedicated to assisting our local seniors and others who are frail and vulnerable, to keep them safely in their homes.  CVCN offers in-home blood pressure checks, medication and treatment education especially post hospital discharge, as well as education and management assistance with new or chronic conditions.  CVCN also provides referrals to Physicians, Community Resources and Support services for both clients and their families.  The CVCN Program is free to anyone within the Lake Chelan Valley and is funded by Grants and Donations.  They depend upon the generosity of donors for revenue.
