Tapped Out Sports Bar & Pool Hall celebrates grand opening in Manson

MANSON — Community members and business leaders gathered May 22 for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of Tapped Out Sports Bar & Pool Hall.

The event, hosted in partnership with the Manson Chamber of Commerce, officially welcomed the new sports bar and pool hall to the Manson business community.

The day began with a live broadcast from KOZI Radio featuring Program Manager and on-air host Jeff Conwell alongside members of the band Radio 80, who promoted a weekend lineup of live music performances scheduled for Friday through Sunday evenings.

Guests also gathered around a large barbecue setup operated by Bruce and Maryln Anderson, who prepared tri-tip sandwiches as part of the grand opening celebration.

At 11 a.m., owner Todd Link joined chamber members, staff and supporters outside the business for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Manson Chamber Executive Director Mary Lynn Thompson praised Link’s vision for the business.

“We’re thrilled to see Todd take Tapped Out in this direction, it feels genuinely true to who he is,” Thompson said. “He’s always had a gift for bringing people together through live music and trivia, and now Tapped Out will offer an even stronger gathering place for sports, games, and community connection. We’re excited to see what he builds and proud to support his efforts.”

Link, who was born in East Wenatchee and later moved to Redmond, served in the United States Navy as an air traffic controller during Operation Desert Storm. After his military service, he worked in the restaurant industry before spending 20 years as an engineer with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.

In fall 2025, Link decided to convert his former Manson winery and tasting room into a sports bar and entertainment venue.

“It was something I’d been thinking about for a long while,” he said.

Link said his goal was “to give Manson a place where great drinks, good games, and good company all come together. From ice-cold pours to unbeatable game-day energy, nothing hits quite like being at Tapped Out.”

The venue features 10 large-screen televisions broadcasting sporting events ranging from football and baseball to soccer and auto racing. In addition to sports viewing, the business offers pool tables, trivia nights and live music performances.

“Bringing quality entertainment to Tapped Out, including staples like Monday Night Trivia, will always be a top priority,” Link said. “Just this Memorial Day weekend we hosted Jam Night with Radio 80, followed by Sin City and another powerhouse set from Radio 80 on Sunday. Every one of them brought incredible energy.”

Tapped Out also serves burgers, sandwiches, baskets, soups, salads, appetizers and a children’s menu, with takeout available.

“Good beer brings people together. That’s why every one of our brews is crafted with one simple goal, helping people share meaningful time with each other,” Link said. “And with the best bartenders in the business, you can count on your favorite specialty drink being made to perfection.”

Tapped Out Sports Bar & Pool Hall is located at 222 E. Wapato Way in Manson and is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. More information is available at Tapped Out Sports Bar & Pool Hall or by calling 509-888-1919.
