TEE TIME

CHELAN - The fans and cooling towels came out last Thursday as the temperature got toasty. Twenty ladies played a fun team competition called Foursome Competition where they combined all foursome scores in both gross and net. The winners were:
Low Gross: Linda Reister, Stacy Bjarnason, MaryJo DuRuz and Carol Giffin, 419.
Low Net: Barb Rayburn, Elona Teague, Judy Johanson and Jane Storms, 311.               
 Hole 18 was our KP hole of the day and Carla Bailey was closest at 3’11” and also made the putt for a birdie. Carol Giffin also made a birdie on hole 18. The lone chip-in girl was Joni Dedo on hole 8.
Our AVWGA team traveled to Three Lakes to compete against Yakima Elks on June 20th. Although defeated that day, they are 4th overall and play Leavenworth in July.
This week will be Monthly Medal (low gross and net by division and fewest putts). Please note that our tee time changes to 8 a.m.; please check in by 7:30 a.m.
