Chelan Museum re-opening April 1

Posted
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Historical Society is excited to announce reopening the Chelan Museum on Thursday, April 1. Limited hours will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 11 a.m. To 3 p.m. Face masks will be required and the number of visitors allowed in the building at one time will be limited.
Because of COVID-19 the museum has been closed to the public since March 9, 2020. Please stop in and see how we have refreshed the museum with paint, new displays and new signage.
Be sure to see the 12 ft. tall Lake Chelan Historic Legend Map display.  The display was installed the week the museum closed its doors a year ago. A 24” x 36” poster based on the display is available for purchase for $30. The Epson photo print depicts the lake in a vertical format along with relevant historic entries.
Come in, renew your membership, take a peek in the gift store and buy our latest 50th Anniversary History Notes or a Lake Chelan Historic Legend Map.
The Annual Meeting of the Lake Chelan Historical Society, traditionally in April, will be postponed until further notice. History Notes, the annual publication of LCHS, will be published in November this year. Members will receive notice.
