‘What’s Up Vet!’ - Informational Zoom meetings: April 22, 27, 29
NCW - All Chelan and Douglas County veterans are invited to attend the new “What’s Up Vet!” informational meetings via Zoom. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. Open to vets, spouses, dependents and anyone with questions regarding veteran benefits and resources. WENATCHEE - The Central Washington chapter of the Combat Veterans International meets at different times and places throughout the North Central Washington region. Food Bank  food distribution: April 24, 27
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Food Bank food giveaway is on Saturday and Tuesday, 9-10 a.m. Distribution is  drive-thru. They are located at 417 S. Bradley Street.

CHELAN -  Lake Chelan Rotary now holds their weekly meeting every Tuesday at noon, in a hybrid format. Members have the option of attending the meeting in person at Sorrento’s Ristorante at Tsillan Cellars or to join online using Zoom. For those attending in person please bring your own food. Coffee, tea and water will be provided. Please bring a mask to wear when not seated in the restaurant. Spring Bazaar, Bake Sale: May 7, 8
ENTIAT - Entiat Friends Church will hold their Spring Bazaar and Bake Sale on Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. a the church located at 2848 Entiat River Road, 1/4 mile off Highway 97A. There will be lots of great homemade items, great for Mother’s Day gifting, baked goods and a raffle table.

Lake Chelan School District: May 11, 25
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan School District board of directors will meet at 6 p.m. on May 11. This meeting will be available to the  Board of Directors and community members via video conferencing.  If you would like to attend this meeting via phone or computer, please contact Georgia Mashayekh prior to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, to learn how to connect. Because of the format of the meeting, public comments and questions for the school board must be submitted to Georgia Mashayekh before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10.
Lake Chelan Lions Club golf tourney: May 14
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Lions Club hold their 2021 golf tourney at Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course on Friday, May 14. Cost is $125 per person for the four person team scramble format. The Lions Club has secured some great prizes this year, including: chance to win a $10,000 cash prize for a Hole in One on #18 and a $5,000 cash prize for a Hole in One on #7, two night’s accommodation at Lakeside Lodge and Suites, dinner for two at Campbell’s Resort, prizes for Best Foursome, Men’s and Women’s Longest Drive on #12, closest to the Pin on Par 3 holes, Putting Contest, winner takes the Cash Pot and a Raffle Drawing with lots of fun and valuable prizes.
