Winter Art Exhibit: Now thru Feb. 27
MANSON - The Lake Chelan Arts Council Winter Art Exhibit, will be held at Radiance Downtown, 71 Wapato Way, in Manson. The art show and sale opened on January 14 and continues every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through February 27. Check www.radiancewinery.com for hours. The theme of the show is “Artist’s Choice” and the Arts Council has a wide variety of artworks will be on exhibit for the Chelan Valley community and its many visitors to enjoy. Glass recycle: Jan. 22
Volunteers needed
CHELAN - Rotary of Lake Chelan 911 Glass Rescue is open on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m.-noon, at 23235 Highway 97A across from WalMart, weather permitting. They are charging a small fee per pound for glass drop-off. Buckets of the materials produced, sand and aggregate, will be available for purchase at $5 per 5-gallon bucket. City of Chelan residents are asked not to put glass into their blue recycle bins, but to bring it out on Saturday mornings. Their all-volunteer team relies on support from members of the community to make the operation run smoothly every week. They have tasks suitable for all ages and abilities. CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Food Bank food giveaway is on Saturday and Tuesday, 9-10 a.m. Distribution is drive-thru. They are located at 417 S. Bradley Street. The Food Bank is getting requests for pet food. Small bags of dog food are best. They can be dropped of at the Lake Chelan Mirror office, 131 S. Apple Blossom Drive, Ste. 109 (Chelan Business Center.
COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics:

CHELAN - Lake Chelan EMS will have a COVID-19 Vaccine Drive-thru Clinics on Saturday, January 22, 3-5 p.m., and on Saturday, February 5, 9-11 a.m., at the Chelan Fire Station, 232 E. Wapato Ave., Chelan. Registration is available at https://lakechelanhealth.org/covid-19/
Viki Downey Polar Bear Plunge:

MANSON - Brave souls are wanted for the 4th Annual Viki Downey Polar Bear Plunge on Sunday, January 23, 12:30-2 p.m. at Manson Bay Park, 142 Pedoi Street in Manson. Manson’s Night to Remember: Feb. 10
MANSON - Manson Chamber of Commerce will recognize their finest Thursday, February 10, 6-8 p.m. This year the theme is “The Roaring 20’s”. The Crossroads Restaurant at Mill Bay Casino will be transformed with galmour, glitz and lots of sparkle.They will look back at the Manson Community in 2021 with the fondest of memories and great appreciation for those who work, teach, volunteer and inspire us to strive to be our best.
