Another year of Lake Chelan Bach Fest in the books

Posted

CHELAN - Conductor Dan Baldwin and the Festival Orchestra were in charge of closing the 38th annual Lake Chelan Bach Fest at Riverwalk Park Pavillion on Saturday, July 20. The free Pops in the Parks concert began shortly after co-president of Lake Chelan Bach Fest Kerry Travers gave a quick update on behave of the officers and the board members. Travers mentioned that they have raised the sufficient money to replace the current acoustic panels at Riverwalk Pavilion. The new panels will have plaque honoring those who contributed money to the project. “We are still taking donations because we want to have a fund to replace and to repair,” added Travers. Retiring board members were also honored during that evening. Afterwards, the blissful orchestra melodies commenced with the Hungarian March from Damnation of Faust.

The officers and board will began planning for the 39th Lake Chelan Bach Fest in August and it will be celebrated July 9-18, 2020. If interested in volunteering at next year’s event visit http://www.bachfest.org/volunteer to complete the volunteer form.
