Our girls felt very proud of this victory after losing to Wenatchee 4-1 only two weeks ago.  Big improvement!
Boys:  Wenatchee 5, Chelan 0
#1 Singles:  Joe Locatelli def Teagen Moody 6-0, 6-2
#2 Singles:  Evan Mueller def Cody Sanderson 6-0, 6-0
#1 Doubles:  Kai Bromiley/Andrew Van Liew def Rylen Moody/Luke Christopherson 6-1, 6-0
#2 Doubles:  Chaz Wiezarek/Sammy Ortiz def Aiden Avery/Hunter Shumway 5-7, 6-0, 6-3
#3 Doubles:  Aiden Shattuck/Austin Bromley def Einn McVay-Dunkel/Landon Johnson 6-0, 6-4
A combination of a strong Wenatchee boys lineup combined with Chelan missing their #1 and #2 singles players on Saturday made for a lopsided team score, but the matches became increasingly competitive as we went deeper into the lineup.  I believe this Chelan boys squad is starting to build some quality depth, which is exciting considering there’s only one senior in the entire program!
