Chelan High School Varsity Football

CHELAN – Coach Travis Domser leads the Chelan High Football team in his 9th season of coaching at Chelan High School and has a combined total of 25 years coaching. With six defensive, five offensive and no new players returning this year the team is well rounded in talent. Supporting Coach Domser are assistant coaches Robin Weathersby, Derek Todd, Christopher Alexander, Quinn Courtney, Rob Rainville, Terry Sanders, Dave Huewe and Jerry Lopez.

 
Last season the Goats finished 3-2; second in the 1A Caribou Trail League (CTL). 
Domser says, “I love this team, they play with great effort.” I asked Coach Domser what team(s) would be the toughest to beat this year and he stated, “all CTL teams are good.” 
Domser’s standouts for the year are his starters: Tate Sandoval, Alonso Benagas, Ryan Rainville, Ryan Allen, Nathan Alcala, Ethan Strandberg, Grant Gogal, Hudson Bangart, Tanner Woodley, Landon Johnson, Jahir Garduno, Reed Stamps, Isaac Wilson, Austin McCardle, Dominique Solorza and Jason Pritchard. On Special Teams they have Quin McLaren (Placekicker), Reed Stamps (Punter), Ryan Rainville (Snapper), Quin McLaren (Kicker) and Jahir Garduno (K/O Return). 
So far this season the Goats are 2-2 with a giant win over Tonasket Sept. 23, 55-13.
