The Chelan Friends of the Public Library received a $3,200 grant from Chelan’s Wilbur-Elis Company and as a result they have installed a art rail gallery system that will change every two months. Local photographer Gary Rittenmeyer is exhibiting his wildlife shots till April.

The Chelan Senior Center was filled with the wonderful aroma of corned beef and steamed cabbage on Friday in celebration of St. Patty’s Day. Seniors from Manson and Chelan gathered for the prepared lunch - many wearing the festive green - and listened to LCCHC CEO Kevin Abel give a presentation on the proposed new hospital.

Holly Hunter (pictured third from right) was recognized by the Chelan County Sheriff Department for all of the work she has done over the years at Walmart. Hunter, a Chelan graduate in 2011, enlisted in the armed forces after she graduated and served for 3-years before returning to Chelan.
