Sherry Fisk, Lake Chelan Ladies Club Tee Time
CHELAN - It was a “beautiful day in the neighborhood” of the Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course. We had a little taste of summer weather to come as it was plenty warm.
This week’s (May 28) competition was Blind Mice where the Pro shop draws 3 holes after tee off. You then subtract these 3 holes from your gross score, less your full handicap.
There were 20 players in the game this week. The winners were:
Division 1: First place, Janet Foyle, 55. Second place, Linda Hahn, 58. Third place was a tie between Nancy Judson and Carol Ferguson, 59.
Division 2: First place, Maggie Stalcup, 52. Second place, Karen Erickson, 54.
Division 3: First place, Julie Allison, 53.
Today’s birdie girls were April Talley on hole 14 and Jo Higgins on hole 2.
Besides the weekly competition, there was round 2 of the Apple Blossom Tournament being played. This week’s results were as follows:
Karen Erickson defeated Janet Foyle 3 and 2. Linda Reister defeated Carol Ferguson 6 and 4. Judy Johanson defeated Nancy Judson 1 Up. April Talley defeated Linda Hahn 3 up.

Next week’s (June 4) competition is Monthly Medal (low gross and net by division). It will also be Round 3 of the Apple Blossom Tournament.
Our tee time is changing to 8:30 a.m. this week on June 4. You should be at the course by 8 a.m. to give Judy Johanson sufficient time to create the pairings. You do not need to call or email Judy ahead of time; simply show up on time.
