Tee Time for July 30

CHELAN - Lake Chelan Ladies Golf Club Tee Time for July 30. The extreme heat really narrowed the field; only 14 women were in attendance for the weekly golf competition. There were fans and spray bottles and cool neck wraps galore. This week’s competition was Even and Odd (count even numbered holes on front nine and odd numbered holes on back nine less ½ your handicap).

This week’s winners were:

Division 1:  First Place, Linda Hahn, 28.5. Second Place, Kari Burrows, 30.

 

Division 2:  First Place, Judy Johanson, 28.

Division 3:  First Place, Bernie Rayner, 31.

Nancy Parker made a chip-in birdie on hole #7 and Cindi Smith cashed in with two chip-ins on holes 4 and 12.

Next week’s competition (August 6) is Monthly Medal (Low gross and low net by division and fewest putts).

Our tee time is 8 a.m.  Please check in by 7:30 a.m.

Next week is also round one of our Club Championship which will consist of three rounds held on August 6, 11 and 13.
