Honoring Chelan's senior athletes

If you were in the area of Sargent Field (Chelan High School football field) last  Friday, April 10, at 20:20 (8:20 p.m.) you saw lots of cars and heard them honking their horns, as they took part in a nationwide effort to honor the members of the Class of 2020 who are sacrificing so many final experiences to keep our population healthy. There are 47 Chelan High School student senior athletes in this years graduating class. Students sat on their cars as many cars, two Chelan Fire & Rescue trucks and a Chelan County Sheriff deputy traveled up and down the street honking their horns and flashing their lights.  The scoreboard was lite up in all 20’s.
